Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I think it's the perfect day to feature Emily and Jason's romantic pink and gray themed wedding. The ceremony and reception took place last summer at The National Museum of Dance in Saratoga Springs, New York.

When asked about Emily's favorite wedding moment, she shared:

"Jason and I did a "first look" so we saw each other before walking down the aisle. It was so special to see him in a quiet moment before all the craziness and remember that it was a day to celebrate our love. Seeing him calmed all of my butterflies and I just knew I was making a great decision."

Emily wore gloves made by her great grandmother who she is named after. The gloves set the tone and pushed them in a vintage direction, leading her to select Alfred Sung's Style D448 in Quarry dupioni for her bridesmaid dresses. The boatneck and the pleated skirt matched with the groomsmen's skinny ties to complete the "Madmen" feel.

Emily is also a bride who ordered a dress from Joielle as a bridesmaid for her friend Rachael's wedding! We featured photos of the wedding last year, and this time, the roles were reversed. It means a lot to us when previous customers come back for their own weddings!

The Maid of Honor bought a necklace from Etsy to distinguish her role in the bridal party.

Emily's favorite part of wedding planning was finding elements that would give guests a more intimate understanding of her and Jason as a couple. They collected family photos in mostly black and white and sepia and used them as part of the centerpieces. It was a great source of conversation for their guests as well as a way to keep the photos for their future family.
