Real Weddings: Andrea and Zac

Andrea & Zac were married in Seattle, WA, at The Hall at Fauntleroy. The name of the venue sounded so familiar to me, and I realized that my cousin's wedding reception was at the same place 7 years ago!

The best part of planning for Andrea was working with some of the "favorite women" in her life, her mom, sister and bridesmaids. She also said that her dad and husband pitched in for many important details as well.

Andrea's bridesmaids wore lux chiffon After Six Style 6611 and Dessy Collection Style 2834 in the color African Violet. The ruffled one shoulder gown continues to be one of our most popular choices by bridal parties.

"My sister and I loved working with Joielle because they were easy to work with and made ordering dresses less of a stressful To-Do! When the dresses arrived, there was a sweet note included which was just the icing on the cake!"

When asked about her favorite moment from the wedding day, Andrea said choosing just one was nearly impossible, but if she had to narrow it down, she would have to say the Father/Daughter dance and playing the Newlywed Game.

Congrats Andrea and Zac! May you continue to collect many more precious memories together as husband and wife.

Real Weddings: Holly and Marty

There are simply so many adorable things about today's real wedding feature that I can't fit it into one blog post! Holly and Marty were married in Huntsville, Alabama at Annabella at Cedar Glen, a southern plantation style home with beautiful outdoor spaces.

Holly has an Etsy store, so she was thrilled to make plenty of DIY items that made her wedding unique, and it showed! She and Marty spent a lot of time on the details, including music selection, design, and food to make the day incredibly special for them.

Holly also had plenty to share about her experience ordering dresses from us:
"Joielle was perfect because I knew I wanted each of my bridesmaids to pick a dress they loved. We decided to stick with Dessy dresses in the charcoal/platinum family. Each looked absolutely fabulous, each was comfortable in what they were wearing, and each walked away with a dress that they loved. The ladies at Joielle were extremely helpful with any questions/concerns any of them had, they were kept up to date about the status of their order, and they received any follow up care they needed. I couldn't have asked for anything better! Thank you times a million!"

From thank you cards made with gray fabric in the shape of each girl's dress style to personalized hangers, you can read Holly's blog for details on her bridesmaid DIY projects.

When asked about her favorite moment, Holly said "Everything!" From the first song she listened to in the morning all the way to leaving in a sea of bubbles, she called it "a perfect day." We love hearing that from brides. Congrats Holly and Marty!
