Real Weddings: Jessica & Rikky

With a romantic and neutral color palette, Jessica and Rikky were married at Golding Winery in Lobethal, South Australia. The bride and groom created their vision of a laid back celebration with a cozy family atmosphere.

Jessica and Rikky did most of their wedding planning together, including choosing music, food and wine and bridal cars. After the outdoor lawn ceremony, guests had drinks and gourmet pizza in the terrace before moving into the barn where the sit down reception was held.

The bridesmaids wore Lela Rose Style LR174, a side draped chiffon gown, in the color Taupe.

"After searching high and low for bridesmaids dresses, I came across Lela Rose. I loved the soft, classic look and and was on a mission to find someone who stocked it. This led me to Tammy and Julie at Joielle. Although at first I was hesitant about placing an international order with no idea of the outcome of the finished product, Tammy and Julie made the process so personal and easy and I was so happy with how the dresses turned out. The girls looked beautiful, they tied in perfectly with the venue and flowers and I received so many positive comments on them."

Jessica had a number of favorite wedding day moments, including her bridesmaids and dad seeing her in her dress for the first time, the look at Rikky's face during the ceremony, and her dad's speech.

"My dad told our guests a story of himself and I when I was younger and how we would belt out the tunes of "When Tomorrow Comes" by the Eurythmics. Dad explained the significance of the lyrics to him as a father and how he promised to share this memory when tomorrow came - my wedding day."

Congrats Jess and Rikky! May your life together be sweet as your beautiful wedding day!
