Real Weddings: Christina & Aaron

Christina and Aaron were married at the Harraseeket Inn in Freeport, Maine on a beautiful "Indian summer" day.

Letting the natural landscape take center stage, the wedding colors were kept neutral with small pops of color.

Christina's bridal party wore a mix of styles from the Dessy Collection and After Six lines in the color Taupe.

Styles 2887, 2903, 2895, 6678, 6666, 2896, 6639

The bridesmaid dresses came out amazing and the girls loved them which made me so happy. All 7 of them looked beautiful and chose their own style. I'd recommend it to everyone who wants to give their bridesmaids a little freedom to choose what suits their body and personality best. Thanks for making that facet of the wedding process easy and fun.

Thank you Christina and Aaron for sharing glimpses of your special day. Best wishes for a joyful and beautiful life together!

Real Weddings: Nina & Sam

Given how stressful wedding planning is, it's always a pleasant surprise to hear from a bride who has nothing but fond memories of putting together her special day. Nina and Sam were married in Long Island, New York and took their photos at the Planting Fields Arboretum.

Nina's favorite part of planning was picking the venue. She and Sam both wanted something with a cool vibe that our guests would feel like they had just stepped into a chic nightclub or lounge, which they found in Carlyle at the Palace.

Nina's bridesmaids wore one-shoulder gowns by Landa Designs, Style M753.

Joielle was a pleasure to work with! I had chosen my bridesmaid dresses 2 years before I was even engaged! I had seen them in a magazine and fell in love with the color and style and knew that one day my girls would be wearing that dress, and sure enough Joielle delivered! The customer service was amazing, every phone call, every email, every question, was answered so quickly that there was never a need to worry or be concerned. Joielle made me feel confident that all the dresses would arrive on time and that they would be perfect, and they really were!

Nina also shared a memorable tidbit which wasn't funny at the time but they can all laugh about it in retrospect.

Our church did not put the AC very high, and it was a pretty hot day in September. So between the heat and my husbands lack of hydration, he almost fainted at the alter. The wedding went on and all was perfect but at the time it was a little scary. Now looking back, we just tell everyone he became faint from my beauty when he saw me walking down the aisle!
